    Since I haven't been a follower of UFC, I didn't know about Bruce Buffer ... and that he's Michael's half-bro.

    A very stentorian family. ;)

Turki owns 60% shares in ZUFFA, Fury will sign with TKO, they've been planning this from the start, Turki was a trojan horse.

He only fought one round vs Aspinal then nearly poked his eye out.

He probably should of stood back and let Justin stand up, i think he would of finished him then with a couple more body shots then some head shots again. Justin was done
He tried to get all fancy with submissions then gassed and let Justin recover.

Agreed, he was tired after the submission attempt and Justin took over.

I think he was hurt and tired a bit before scoring the knockdown, so he took his opportunity and tried to end the fight, but likely did not realize just how much energy he spent doing so.
Watching it live, I thought he took the fight to the ground out of desperation.

And what a badass Topuria is. He was tired, beaten up, could not see out of one eye... and he still went out in the fourth, and fought his heart out!

Pereira and a lot of top MMA people are angry over Gane's illegal moves again.

A lot had been said about Top’s boxing ability.

He is a damn good striker I give him that but his boxing IQ isn’t all that. His positioning and punch radar just weren’t at a high level. He was just always there for Justin to take advantage of.
Barely feints, doesn’t know how to slip or roll with shots very well. Better at mitigating kicks than punches.
Those body shots were nasty but that was the time to work off those to finish with some big stuff up top.

I know it’s different in MMA because you on guard for so many other things and blocking shots is not really an option but he was just a sitting duck, Gaithje landed 86% of his his head strikes! That’s just not acceptable.

And then this supposed BJJ expert missed a couple of submission opportunities. Like some have mentioned he was probably just exhausted and couldn’t capitalise.

Either way, some of them were highly illegal and very hard shots to the back of the mind and Gane is unquestionably a very dirty fighter and the eye poking alone is egregious enough

I don't think it would've changed the outcome of this fight but the ref should've been aware of it given Gane's history, warned him and given Poatan time to recover from the illegal blows and even though Poatan might have got a lucky break after being legit hurt by a legal shot Gane would only have himself to blame for being dirty again

How on earth is there a timeline where Conor beats max and gets a title shot against Gaethje LOL

The wider MMA community would blow up if Conor became champ again.

McGregor will not beat anyone who isn't a can for the rest of his career.

Whilst i agree to some extent, i wouldnt completely write him off, especially if hes bringing featherweights up to 170 and not fighting actual welterweights. I wouldnt be surprised if he clips Max. I wont write him off completely until i see what hes got left next month.
