    Holmes won this by knockout in 1979. But for as outmatched as Alfredo Evangelista was he showed some grit. Took the fight right to Larry and never stopped throwing. It was actually an entertaining match.

    If Frazier of even Manila fitness could've matched Holmes of his prime, it would've been one of the most bonkers junkyard dog matches in history, I believe. Holmes would catch Joe with that uppercut a lot but he'd fail with his stiff-arming that works on an Evangelista and be getting rocked to his core by Joe's heatseeker. The fireworks would be electrifying. That sentence doesn't necessarily make sense but it is true, whether it makes sense or not.
