Boxers always say they want to be retired young, health and wealthy and on top. It doesn't happen very often though.

I just don’t understand comments like this. He’s not exciting per se, but watching his mastery of distance control and ability to read opponents and react almost at the same time they start to act is sort of poetry in motion. It’s interesting in the way watching a cheetah run or an acrobat perform is.

and I don’t get how a boxing fan doesn’t respect and admire what he does. He’s probably the #1 p4p once Inoue retires.

 

I’m so very embarrassingly basic when it comes to film. If there’s not stuff blowing up or boobies, I’m not interested.

Might be meeting him later in the year. I guess he'll keep 6ft away from me at all times and bore me to death.

 

Anyone who still takes these "retirement" comments from boxers serious is a dummy.

 

He probably won’t but I don’t care if he actually does. Not only is he boring but I’m also getting sick of his antics when it comes to calling out guys like Haney, Garcia, etc
