It never ceases to amaze me how Inoue fanboys seemingly do not want Inoue to take the most serious challenges.

Bam has a single fight at 118 and none at 122.

Seems like Inoue's expected to move up to 126 next year if he gets by Bam. Let Shu Shu face off either Angelo Leo or Rafael Espinoza first in the mean time. These guys can't just wait on the smaller guy to move up. Stop stalling and fight each other.

Ideal scenario would be for Inoue to have one stay busy fight this year while Bam has one title fight at 118 and then one fight at 122 before they face off early 2027. I still wouldn't mind seeing Inoue KOing Casimero during the build up to the Bam fight.

If age hasn't caught up to him by then and Inoue manages to get past Bam then I can see Inoue going to 126 to challenge at least two of the champs there. Perhaps they can have two separate title fights between Shu Shu, Espinoza, Leo, and Figueroa. Inoue can face the winner of either of those fights. Assuming he manages to grab a title at 126 then he can go for the other champ in an undisputed bout at 126.

Of course this is just speculation and Bam is certainly not the kind of fighter for Inoue to overlook at all. Out of all the possible fighters to face Inoue it's Bam who is the most talented and skilled out of the rest. At 126 Espinoza is the biggest threat mainly due to his significant size advantage.

If this undercard fighter is serious, then he should really push for the legacy bout he makes noise about
Instead of putting out sound bites to media outlets that make it look like he does

If any negotiations were to ever take place he would be TOLD the terms

Yup. Calling out Inoue while doing nothing worth talking about...somehow thinks he's going to get a shot that way.

Nobody other than him and Nobrain is clamoring for that fight as opposed to Inoue vs Bam which is the fight everyone wants to see.

Nobody thinks Carrington has a chance in hell against Inoue other than himself while many are picking Bam to beat Inoue.

Inoue should fight two more fights and retire that would be against the only two fighters with a chance of beating him and the fighters who would enhance his legacy and that would be Bam and Ezpinoza.

 

There is a common theme with some fan bases they love their favorites to age guys out then want full credit for victories even if they are robberies and they have the gall to call Inoue fans out a guy who ducks nobody in their prime. See below.

Canelo v GGG - GGG was 35 and got robbed
Now Bam is trying to wait until Inoue is at least 35

 

I personally don't agree with the idea that Inoue has to be the one to accommodate for Bam to get settled in.

Yeah, Inoue hasn't taken challenges throughout his career. Eejit.

There are two contradictory factors to making this fight. Inoue is getting older, and Bam wants time to adjust to 122.

They should make a deadline and do it if they want the fight to happen, because after mid 30s, lighter weight fighters age faster than heavier weight fighters.

If Bam is as good as he says, he should make it a competitive fight, as he is young and should be able to be at a similar size to Inoue. If he's just waiting until he is bigger, along with being younger, then if I was Inoue, I would say no, you missed your window.
