As if “the Klitschko-version Fury” was some untouchable boxing god or something…

Fury vs Klitschko was a boring and a close fight. I didn't see anything special with Fury in that fight.

Are you going to keep usyks own clock static or wind it back to 2015 too?

Usyk wins but Fury from the 2nd Wilder fight beats Usyk

It's interesting that Fury never pressured Usyk in either fight, despite Wilder 2 being far more recent than Wlad. I'd say this suggests that Fury wasn't confident in aggressive tactics working against Usyk, and thought nicking it on points was significantly more likely. There may have also been some risk aversion, not wanting to get KO'd.

OP is wrong about Fury being overconfident for Usyk. He knew how good Usyk was, and almost lost to Ngannou in his previous fight. He was taking Usyk seriously.

Fury also was not obese for Usyk 1 (or 2: he likely had weights in his pockets, as he did for McDermott 2). Fury's weight from the Wlad weigh in was wrong according to Fury; Wlad's team apparently rigged the scales. Fury was actually about 256 lbs for Wlad. Fury was half a stone heavier at age 35 than he was at 27, which is significant but not "obesity".

But it's fair to think that 8.5 years younger with P. Fury in his corner, Fury likely beats a 37 year old Usyk.

    Yes exactly

I don't think Fury trusted his gas tank vs Usyk in that first fight

The only difference would be how much clowning he did. Furywas always a product of matchmaking with old guys and bums.
