Anthony Joshua is replacing Michael Moorer in the fight against George Foreman.

Foreman’s face was a swollen mess. He was getting hit a lot and had lost, I believe, seven of the first nine rounds according to the judges. It’s true Moorer didn't have him hurt, but Joshua hits a lot harder and he would’ve been able to get Foreman out of there.

 

He KO's him. Period.

 

Moorers defense is a level above ajs. With how easily Foreman gets hit joshua would be willing to get into exchanges and get knocked out eventually

 

This is what I was thinking.

 

AJ has no mobility advantage after Foreman lands a couple body shots, Foreman jabs, shoves, and is too much inside and in the clinch, finishes AJ similar to Cooney somewhere around 6 or 7

 

I’ll go with Joshua. Foreman really looked awful in the Moorer fight until he decked Double M late. Joshua is a much bigger man, with more range and power. Foreman would likely get busted up eating his shots. Foreman doesn’t have the speed to push the pace on AJ and destroy his confidence. There is a reason comeback Foreman seemed to miss - Bowe, Lewis, and many others. He went for Holyfield, Moorer two guys coming up from lighter weights that he could handle. Now the AJ of today who knows but the one that faced Wlad wins.

 

Foreman is way too slow. I prefer AJ on points

 

I think it ends the same way, with Joshua on his back and being counted out.

 

Foreman would drop dead if he took punches like that against AJ

 

Same fight, same outcome. Joshua would be ahead but would eventually get caught.

 

George had really diminished, at his age, three years after the Holyfield fight.

 

Aj couldn't even make Franklin drop dead and Itauma bodied him.

Foreman has a way better chin than aj, he can likely take ajs shots consistently. Joshua sucks against aggressive power punchers and his chin is average at best

I'd pick AJ I guess. Tbh, I'd also pick Moorer over Foreman even with hindsight.
