He'd absolutely put a dent in him and more. Bowe was never hard to hit and Sanders hit like an automobile crash. Could he keep him down is the question. I think yes, but Bowe did take a shellacking against Golota and kept getting back up, so who knows.
If Rahman could survive and outlast Sanders then so could Bowe. While Sanders had skill he never really gave boxing 100% and his big win probably had more to do with Klitschko’s short comings than anything else. Great win nonetheless but he’s not beating Bowe.
It's impossible to answer questions like this, Bowe never beat a genuine power-puncher in his life. He's clearly a way better fighter but what's gonna happen when Sanders lands a hammer to his jaw? Who knows.
This is a fight that turns in to crazy, very quickly. Both men hurt and dropped. I give Sanders a good shot actually.
I like Sanders in the upset here. 2 rounds. Bowe won't even see the punch. In addition to the sloppy defense, he does not have the footspeed to get away from the follow up punches. There would have been some very attractive odds if the bout would have transpired.
I think the guy who was out for the count against Nate tubbs is the one who should be having his chin questioned, not the guy who fought 45 bouts without ever being stopped.
Bowe wins eventually. Bowe had the strange ability to absorb consecutive punches after getting hurt and if he can survive the first few rounds the fight is his, additionally i wouldn't be confident in Sanders chin or his ability at range
Yes. Bowe weighed 245 for Holyfield II. And in spite of Foreman (RIP) knocking him, for some reason, influencing, for the whole fight, he didn't look too bad. If he had come in at 235, like their first fight, Holyfield would have stopped him by the 5th round. Take it to the bank. I don't think he expected Bowe to be that much bigger. His stamina may have been in question, yes, and Holyfield was going to work on that next (to the tune of a 9th/10th rd KO win).. but the fan man saved him, Bowe, there. Holyfield, the hard luck champion. So I'll go with Bowe. 'Can't really trade with THAT guy. He was uber coordinated for a super heavyweight. He would put a bone duster on Sanders.
