Tommy is the more dangerous fight, but at the same time the more winnable one imo. Like if Bud can withstand the early onslaught from Tommy then maybe he can break him down in the later rounds. However Bud is going to have to abandon his counterpunching style and actually go after Tommy who most likely is going to use his elite movement after getting hurt. Meanwhile with Floyd there just aren't many avenues for victory I can see for Bud, as Floyd would just outbox him the whole fight. But then again we haven't seen Floyd fight bigger guys of Bud's level who could give him problems with his jab, so I still wouldn't count Bud out. Edit: Oh sorry I thought the question was who would be the tougher opponent for Bud
Hearns for sure. Hearns size and power too me is more troubling than Floyd's defensive prowess. I don't think Floyd could hurt Crawford. I know that Tommy could.
This might sound a little odd, but I think that Hearns has the better chance of beating Crawford, as well as the better chance of losing to Crawford. He has the better chance to beat him because of his power and the better chance to lose to him because of his chin.
I would give Crawford about a 25% chance of beating Mayweather by decision at 147, he isn’t going to ko Mayweather. I would give Crawford about a 10% chance of not getting koed by Hearns and a 5% chance of winning. I have seen no evidence of Crawford having enough power to stop Hearns. Hearns chin may not have been titanium but it wasn’t eggshells either. Everyone that stopped Hearns could crack and went through hell to get him out.
If Gamboa could wobble Crawford, Hearns would take him out. What big puncher has Crawford took shots from? lol I am a Crawford fan but I am also a realist.
You’re acting as if Doug Dewitt and Murray Sutherland have something that Crawford doesn’t. Crawford didn’t duck punchers. Canelo and Spence were two dangerous guys. Mean Machine lacked the talent, but also had power. I’d give Hearns a 90% chance of taking out Amir Khan.
I might favor Crawford over Mayweather at 147 and above. Thats where his size and strength would come into play. He would always a reach advantage. Like Floyd, Bud is also a very intelligent fighter. Hearns would test Crawford's chin but he could also box him from the outside wirh that jab and 79 inch reach. Most likely Hearns boxes his way to a decision. Bud would be a live dog though Hearns falls asleep and gets stung.
No. 19/1. I just don’t visualize Crawford beating Hearns. He is not going to outbox Hearns and nothing I have seen suggest he would survive a firefight with Hearns, which would most certainly happen. I am a huge Crawford fan but based on his record I think he is a little over hyped. I actually give Crawford a better chance of beating Leonard than Hearns. I see Hearns as simply a horrible matchup for Crawford.
