What a right royal rip off. Toney looked great in round 1, Tiberi closed the distance more often thereafter, read his punches better and simply outworked him in the pocket. At the final bell Tiberi still had some energy, he was up high in the arms of his trainer.......Toney was dog tired and barely able to stand. Tiberi killed him on punch stats.

I'd forgotten there was a U.S. senate investigation due to this decision.

 

He should have got his Cinderella story. It's one of the numerous instances where boxing leaves a sour taste in ones mouth mate.
