Doesn't bother me in the least, Madrimov has more power than Bohachuk and he took his punches fine. I think it was simply a case of a long layoff due to Rhabdo, regardless, the shots he was dropped with didn't come close to hurting him. the first was a rabbit punch and the second a slip.

Or, he keeps eating punches and gets KTFO before he makes it to Ortiz.

Barely beat Madrimov? No, he beat him more clearly than Crawford did. He made plenty of adjustments against both. Madrimov is smarter fighter than Zayas and against Bohachuk he was coming off of a long debilitating illness. Or are we all supposed to forget that and act like it wasn't a factor? Still, aside from the 2 KD's which were questionable, he wins the Bohachuk match soundly. He certainly wasn't hurt there nearly as badly as Boots tonight.

No he doesn't, Ennis is a punching bag, who barely scraped by Karen and almost got KTFO by Zayas. Ortiz will hurt him and hurt him badly, in a way he cannot recover.

Zayas is not that good. He is a gentleman but, come on, he is a solid upper tier fighter.

Same thing was said about Crawford btw when Gamboa clipped him, That stuck with him all the way till he beat the snot out of Spence and even during that build up. He was getting tagged off little Gamboa, imagine what happens when this guy or that guy hits him.

The minute Bud fights a guy who can really crack that chin will fold. It didn’t. Until I see Boots down and scrambling, I’m on board that the chin is solid, that moment will happen though unless he starts bringing his defence.

Could and should be a blessing that the first major moment of adversity in his career came against Xander and not a real banger.

Always the optimist! Thank God for pessimistic realists like me to douse the optimists with a bucket of ice water. Boots ain't Crawford, Boots will never be Crawford, and Boots was hurt far worse in there tonight than Crawford ever was.
