Is Usyk beating Rico more impressive than Lewis beating Vitali

How do you compare Lewis' best win to Rico?
Rico created such an image of himself as a boxer with his good performance against Usyk; none other.

 

God bless you you for what you are trying to do here, but this is a hell of a stretch.

 

Rico has no boxing wins so it's impossible to rate him that highly, obviously.

Beating Dubois in dominant and non-controversial fashion at 38 may be better than beating Vitali in a controversial war at 37. Vitali is rated more highly than Dubois and is much more durable but Dubois has better top wins and far more one punch threat. It's in the eye of the beholder.

Usyk was well below his usual standard with prep for the Verhoeven fight and looked to be winding down to me.

 

Beating Verhoevenwasn't impressive or meaningful in anyway. It was an embarrassment that Usyk came in soft and unprepared. It is what everyone said about Fury after the Ngannou fight and Usyk deserves the same condemnation.

 

This post largely comprises omission of key details or outright falsehoods. As great a fighter as Usyk may be, this reasoning to justify your take is respectfully quite poor.

 

Vitali was better than anyone Usyk has ever beaten.

You can tell Rico better than Vitali because Lewis actually wanted to fight Vitali. But by the time the Usyk/Rico fight was in talks...most people didn't even expect the fight to happen.
