I thought garcia beat porter but that's besides the point. The way Maidana countered pbf amd made him lose his tooth at the end of the round was garcia. He made Maidana into a much better boxer. Shame he made so much money in that fight and retired because he was a problem

Shawn Porter was one of the most overrated, and one dimensional fighters of the last 25 years. That bum didn't have a gameplan in any fight.

Why the hate on Porter lol the guy seems to be rated pretty fairly, no one ever favored him against the upper echelon?

 

Was a fun fight, Ennis definitely puts on a show, his hands are so fast and his combinations can overwhelm most fighters defences if you allow him to throw. But he again showed his vulnerabilities. He has limitations, I can't see him going any higher than 154 and stay undefeated.

He's more Errol Spence level than Bud Crawford. Very good fighter clearly not just hype but he's not going to be the face of boxing or be regarded as the top P4P guy in the game.

I just hope the fight with Ortiz can be made sometime soon and we don't have to wait years like we did with Spence and Crawford.

 

I don't blame him for taking the multi-million dollar express route to Canelo. I don't think he ducked anybody in his prime years at the lower weights. He just never had a great opponent. I think Crawford went from being underrated pre - Spence to being overrated post - Spence and thus post - Canelo.

 

Yeah he's already proven himself a level or two above Broner at the very least. While I think Ennis isn't as good as some think he isn't a complete hype job like Broner was.
