Ennis will win. This is a genuine superfight though. Two undefeated hungry fighters in their prime. A rarity.

This is the biggest fight to be made this year. They NEED to make it happen next. Probably the most explosive match up that we’ll see.

I like both but gotta tell it like it is. boots by stoppage. Ortiz doesn't have enough to beat boots

Right now it's a 50-50 BUT what I will say is that if Boots does not tighten up his defence, he will get stopped - Ortiz hits WAY harder than Zayas and is great finisher, if ha catches Boots with something like Zayas did in round 3, then Boots ain't surviving, he can only brawl when hurt and that would be all she wrote. Additionally, Ortiz has come through the fire on many occasions and I think is more chin & gut-tested than Zayas (still only 23!!!).

It probably comes down to 2 main questions

    • Who can take the others power shots better?
    • Who can execute their defensive gameplan better?

So yeah, whilst it's a pick-em right now, I slightly favour Ortiz due to Boots had habits and flaws - it remains to be seen whether Boots can show if he can tighten those up and be more disciplined in defence.

Boots always had them defensive flaws , just the just he never really fought the top top comp to be exposed like last night .. if Zayas had a bit more pop in his shots and more experience he could of stopped Boots in the 3rd..

Now that everyone seen him hurt by not a big puncher sharks will come , Ortiz being one that stands out at 154..

I think some of you guys are desperate to see vulnerability in fighters. He wasn’t hurt. Getting hit hard is apart of the game. Also Vergil isn’t a huge puncher. He just puts everything in his punches and wears his opponents down. Boots will slip the majority of them.

Ortiz can only win by Margaritoing Ennis. I don't think he's got that kind of chin so I'm going with Ennis.

Come on, man. He was badly hurt. He was drunk for over a round.

    Ennis wins by KO.

Ortiz is easy to hit, tailor made for Ennis.

Boots looks better everytime I see him fight and he's honestly looking sensational.

He's also getting hit, A LOT. Not just by jabs, by HUGE power punches every fight. That can't be sustainable against a puncher like Vergil.

Virgil was hurt and dropped in 2 fights but people like to forget it happened. Boots has never been dropped as a pro he certainly can rock Ortiz boots and if he does hes more than capable of finishing him off. Boots will eventually wear down Ortiz with speed amd power like he does to pretty much everybody who comes to fight Ortiz will be no different.

He was definitely hurt but as said he did get caught clean a lot in that round and many times while he was hurt. If he had a bad chin I think he would've been dropped already given how many times we've seen him get caught clean albeit he was huge for 147 and bigger or much bigger than the vast majority of those guys he fought down there and there are some very big hitters at this weight and he's not going to have that size advantage up there like he did at 147
