I was just reading until I found this crazy ass article:
    https://www.*****.com/mike-tyson-trevor-bryan-foreman/

Who would've thought that 55 year old Mike Tyson could've contended for one of the alphabet titles (the WBA Regular championship) against Trevor Bryan? Bryan must've brought forward this offer after seeing Tyson's performance against Roy Jones, but that sparks the thought, could've Tyson become oldest world champion not just in the heavyweight division but out of all divisions, of all time?

Age matters Tyson was already below that level in his 40s

Tyson didn't even hurt that version of paper mache chin Jones

He hasn't had any business being spoken about at such a level even before he initally retired

Bryan would have likely beaten the Tyson from the McBride fight. Versus a 55 year old, 17-year retired, Tyson, it would have been a hopeless mismatch.

There are no-name guys Trevor Bryan beat up who would have annihilated that 55-year-old version of Tyson.

There is almost no one 55 years old who could beat an elite at their weight class in their prime.

Anything that would give you a reason to make an exception like size or not having been retired long did not apply here. Not only did they not apply Tyson's a 5'10 HW with a short reach who relied on his speed and who'd been out of the game 20 years. He was the antithesis of the things that would lead you to make an exception for someone.

We've never seen that version of Tyson in a real fight, only scripted exhibition money grabs

Even then he tuned RJJ up with just body shots and had many opportunities to flatline Paul

Imagine if it happened and Mike somehow won … Jake Paul would be lineal WBA regular champ.
