Very few guys at 154 beat Winky, Boots isn't one of them for now, but who knows if he stays there for a few years and beats half a dozen of the top 10, then we would have a better idea.

 

A lot of these guys just started following boxing in the 2020s.

Yes. Boots is more dynamic than Forrest was and Mosley is too small for Boots. It’s a competitive fight, but size matters here.

 

Boots' style doesn't resemble Forrest's style in the least bit. They are literally nothing alike. The writing was always on the wall for Forrest giving Shane problems, since the amateurs.

Picking Boots over a prime Mosley, after he was just badly rocked by feather fisted Zayas, is insanity.

Shane Mosley was overrated in his prime, but 26 years later he's become very underrated.

The 2000 Mosley would absolutely wreck Boots and its blind recency bias to think otherwise.

First fight with Oscar was at 147. Shane was much less effective at 154.
