Boots can chop that tree down and Oritz can face Josh Kelly then undisputed that's the path

This will be a good one. I have to favor Ennis but the Towering Inferno has improved quite a bit in the last couple of years. I just think that Boots’power and all of the available body Fundora has to be hit will eventually be the difference.

In any event, I am definitely looking forward to this fight if it happens.

I was hoping for Vergil Ortiz to come in right away but I'm all for this match up. Should be a good test for both fighters. Ennis has the power to knockout Fundora but he'll have to overcome the height and reach. Fundora has also improved a lot where he now knows how to fully utilize his advantage. I think this fight can go either way by stoppage.

If this fight comes through then perhaps they can get Vergil Ortiz against Josh Kelly so the winner will face the winner of this fight.

Boots and Fundora is a real 50/50 fight. Would love to see it. It could easily go either way; I'd probably pick Fundora, given how he's leveraged his height and how dramatically he has improved over his last few fights. Not to mention he's more battle-tested at 154. If Fundora had hurt Boots like Zayas did, he wouldn't have made it out of that 3rd round.

Apparently Josh Kelly has a Boots fight written into his contract, so that might be next for him? I've heard it on a couple of podcasts/interviews now.

In my opinion, Fundora is the secret No. 1 at 154. However, he needs to step up the level of competition to prove it.

Boots is great for boxing, and I would be happy if it were able to crumble The Towering Inferno, but I think it is Fundora's fight to win.
