This fight on July 11th will be for the full WBA Heavyweight Title.

Yoka has a somewhat tricky style and can be elusive. He's much taller and has a huge reach advantage. And he doesn't seem to have a fragile chin, he's never been stopped as a pro. If he boxes cautiously, he'll actually have a good chance of winning this fight.

Gassiev is the bigger puncher and so far has shown a good chin, but he's naturally much smaller and is rather slow on his feet. If I were Gassiev's manager, I would have chosen a different opponent. However, his aggressive style may wear Yoka down in the later rounds.

Who do you think will win this?

Both guys are better than Bermane Stiverne was.

Gassiev has a left hook from hell and Yoka has a shaky mandible

Problem is Gassiev is shot to bits and Yoka is about 260lbs now, 6'7'' with a 82'' reach, so somewhere between 5.5'' reach advantage, 20-30lbs heavier, with a near 6'' reach advantage, and even though Yoka has a shaky mandible all his losses have come on points and he can punch himself and has very good skills and he's going to be extremely mindful and cautious of Gassiev's left hook and Gassiev will have to get close to him to land with it

Arreola was one of Vitali's best wins and Stiverne dominated him twice. Neither Gassiev or Yoka could take take Wilder's shots for 12 rounds. Yoka has lost to two guys worse than Arreola, while beating no one as good (faded Hammer?) Gassiev lost to Wallin, who may well have lost to Arreola himself on styles.

Gassiev is better than Charles Martin at least, Yoka seems not to be.

Gassiev could KO him but I’m not sure whether he can cut off the ring

Anyone thinking Tony Yoka has even a snowball's chance in hell are deluding themselves. Gassiev has a kryptonite, and they're called southpaws. Yoka is not a southpaw. He'll do the same goddamn thing to him that he did to Pulev. Yoka is leaving the arena on a stretcher.

Gassiev lost to Wallin. It tells enough about him. And a Russian won't be allowed to be a heavyweight champion.

    Yoka wins this.

I don't consider Yoka any worse than Wallin; there's a chance, so I'll say Yoka by decision.
