Will we see some heavies from the past making comebacks, now? If so, who?

    I remember when Tyson lost to Douglas, you had guys coming out of the woodwork to get back into the division because of the feeling that the door was now opened. It was part of the reason that the 90s were so thick--there were suddenly good guys to develop talent with.

    Will we now see a similar thing? Are we going to see a number of guys trying to get back in or revitalize their careers?

    Not sure, but I’m always down for a good heavyweight comeback. Other than an ancient Wlad, I’m not sure who else there is who can mount any sort of “real” comeback though. I feel like all of the old guys are still active haha.

    Maybe Haye can get on some stem cells and get that broken body through some training camps again? Trying to think of others….

    Curiously enough in 2024, he hinted he was coming back in 2025. But the year came and went.

    I do not believe the trinity of 1949 had anything to do with Mike Tyson or Buster Douglas.

    Lyles comeback was not serious.
