He admitted getting dropped in sparring when he was 16, when he was a child sparring world champions. Other than that, he hasn't been down in the pros or the amateurs. Wladimir Klitschko got knocked out a few times, so that must mean Vitali has a bad chin by the same logic?

Itauma nearly took Franklin's head off his shoulders with 1 uppercut and had him completely legless. He had never been dropped or stopped before, so his power seems fine to me, that's not even his main attribute. He'd make Wardley look stupid. Wardley has zero ring IQ, dreadful distance control, and telegraphs his shots more than any other fighter in the top 30. Shane McGuigan admitted that Itauma took Dubois to the cleaners in sparring, who is a far better fighter than Wardley, Wardley wouldn't beat Hrgovic, never mind Itauma.

You'd hope so given Itaumas age.

    Itauma is the goods

Significantly more gifted than Anthony Joshua ever was

He will run the heavyweight division in a few years

I understand people not being sold on him yet cause he hasn't beaten a single top 10 opponent

at this point Itauma looks like the real deal. There SEEMS TO BE some confusion as to his size one source said 6'2" TONITE ON THIS SITE SOMEONE SAID 6'4".

Then how tall is Jermaine Franklin? Franklin is listed as 6'2, but looked at least 3 inches shorter than Itauma.

Itauma's biggest problem is that he has not been tested. Without a test of his heart, it is very difficult to rate him accurately. Everyone hits adversity.

Yes technically. But that's not what wins you fights at the highest level. it's a mixture of many things. he does not hit like Joshua. and he's in with ****ing giants like Zhang.

    Have him fight zhang.

    Joshua couldn't even beat Dubois

The real match is Itauma vs Dubois, that will prove who is superior between the 2

The same things we've been saying about him before... he's slower than paint drying, cuts easily, has poor stamina, seems disinterested in boxing, training and lacks discipline.

Don't get me wrong, this is a nice step up, however, all Itauma has done so far is pass the eye test against mostly old men with his biggest win being Franklin.
