Haye would set up lightening fast rights over the top of Rahman’s jab through level changes, and he’d be too quick for Rahman when doing it, and he’d be able to see what’s coming from Rahman in return.

    Haye mid-late rounds stoppage.

Not totally sure. But, I think I lean towards Haye by KO. Rahman is one of the few Heavyweight Champs over the last 30 years that I would give Haye much of a chance of beating.

Interesting bout. If they fight 3x, neither goes 3-0.

I seem to like the Hayemaker more than most do on this forum. Fast hands for sure. And was really happy when he knocked off Valuev and that winning streak he had going. And Haye has the conditioning edge here.

And Rahman is just so easy to dismiss. Another 80's heavyweight type that cannot sustain anything but can rise up one night. But he did rise to the occasion and ko Lewis w/ a devastating perfectly placed right hand. The rare 1 punch ko in a big fight. Usually it is a combo or RSC. But not a 1 punch. We almost always get underachievers and not the guys that capitalize on opportunities.......so that counts in this matchup.

Rahman has that good jab. Windshield wiper swipe lefthook though. So he'd better not get caught trading lefthooks with this opponent. And Haye footwork and defense is better of the 2.

Shaky vote for Haye but his chances are reduced if he is the guy being the road warrior. At the end of the day--that might be the deciding factor for who gets their arm raised; where the bout takes place.

    Good matchup between flawed fighters.

It really depends on which version of Rahman we got

Great points. I don't see either winning all in a 3 fight series because I can see compelling arguments for both. Haye always seems the more 'superficial' fighter in these matches so I'll take Haye by sneaky mugging in fight one and Rahman to win the series...

I always found David Haye to be all hot air and no action though his win over Chisora was very impressive

Rahman is not a fighter I like in most fantasy match ups. I don't love his punch resistance, I think he is easy to hit, he doesn't have tremendous one shot power and he has a tendency to fight dumb.

I think Haye catches him with that right hand enough to rock him and maybe stop him.
