I looked it up: sixth round. Lewis must have took his sweet time. Bowe would not do that- he'd come out swinging for the fences.
THESE particular versions… Tommy is a very live underdog here. Bowe isn’t going to fight at a distance as Lewis did and Morrison JUUUST missed a few fight ending hooks off Lewis’ jab and did crack Lennox pretty decent a few times but obviously not flush with his best shots. Put it this way… That past prime version of Morrison did better than Tyson did against lewis imo. Point being… Bowe would be there to get cracked and Tommy hit harder than Golota and Holyfield. I don’t think this is the blowout many seem to think it is. Bowe is favored in this one but much stranger things have happened than Morrison managing to make this a war like the Ruddock fight and eventually catching Bowe with an atomic hook off a sloppy uppercut.
Both could be hit and hurt but overall Bowe had the better chin, better conditioning. Bowe’s toughness, pace, conditioning, and power all were underrated. I see him stopping Morrison at some point, even if he has some rough patches.
You have some solid points , but Tommy's chin hangs over this fight like a cloud. I keep seeing Michael Bent getting off the canvas to KO Morrison and a exchange with Bowe would be far more dangerous. Even if Morrison hurts Bowe, I doubt he'd finish him.
