Conn.. master boxer with elite speed.. thrived in an era without PEDs & 8oz gloves.. out boxed the greatest HW of all time, but then stupidly decided to trade with him.. blinded by his success in the 12th he ignored his corners pleas to keep moving and instead abandoned his elusive style to stand toe to toe with the most devastating finisher of the era.. one of boxing's greatest ever blunders..

Conn is easily a top 50 all time fighter still for me.. beat Apostoli, Lesnevich, Corbett III, Zale, Krieger, Bettina, Yarosz, Dundee, Zivic, Risko.. a good 5/6 HOFers.. Ward would get out fought.

Conn wins a UD, especially in 15 rounder.

Conn by UD. Ward isn't going to show him anything he hadn't seen already.

As if Ward has never seen a guy who wings his punches and lunges in with his jab.
