I was actually impressed

Trout was coming off back to back loses, one was a close competitive fight against Canelo and the second one was a confidence destroying one-sided fight at the hands of Lara.

Boxers are not video game characters, you can’t expect them to be always the same when they get in the ring, especially after what Trout has been through. Furthermore, he went to this fight aggressive, trying to make an statement, and got KD twice, but even then managed to get up and take the fight from there, getting a KD of his own along the way.

This may not have been the best opponent, but Trout’s biggest opponent on that fight was himself, and he managed to get pass all what he’s been through and get back in his ways, which I find very impressive and worthy of praise. Mental hits are what really break a fighter, just look at the sad case of Victor Ortiz.

Sad to see Trout fighting in these amateurish "BKFC" spectacles. He legitimately got robbed vs jermall and after the hurd fight also didn't go well i think it ****ed with his head. Sad to see all the time in boxing. Muricio herrera vs danny, kovalev vs ward, josesito vs berto, GGG vs canelo 2. The fire leaves the boxer and they leave with full disillusionment.

theres no such thing as a strong chin in bare knuckle, if you get hit on the chin or the temple you are going to get knocked out cold.
