    The fact that you’re still against the idea of Carrington having to defend his title against the other top featherweights including Espinoza before a potential Inoue fight is hilarious. The least Carrington can do is help bring a little more life into that division.

    As said, Carrington has been calling out Inoue for at least 2.5 years, since prior to Inoue's 2nd fight at 122, when Carrington was a mere 9-0 prospect and 8 fights before he even became a world champion and now after winning his 1st and only world title (for the vacant WBC belt) he's trying to dictate terms to the P4P king who is a four-weight world champion, 28-0-0 (23 KOs) in world title fights alone, has beaten something like 17 world champions, and is a literal superstar who sells out 50,000-60,000 seater stadiums in his homeland

    Is ranked #3 at 126

    And hasn't even headlined his own card yet and isn't in his next fight either :facepalm:

    Carringtons best win was against a guy who lost to Fulton and Nery. Both Inoue victims.

    Outside of that, he hasn't really beaten anyone of note.

    He'd probably be best trying to unify as he is hardly making himself stand out.

    You seem mistaken.

    Id happily watch Carrington fight Espinoza.

    But the idea that Carrington, an undefeated champion who poses a more serious threat to Inoue than anyone Inoue has fought, somehow needs to prove that he is worthy of defending HIS title against Inoue, is comical.

    I just like watching good fights. I don’t bend over backwards to make excuses for athletes who I idolize.

    It's Bam next and then Ezpinoza and retire. Nothing else left to prove. Leave the sport as a legit ATG and HOF.

    What’s comical is that you think that Carrington is a bigger threat than any fighters that Inoue has faced. Based on what exactly? He hasn’t proven that fact because he hasn’t beaten anyone worth a damn. What value is there for Inoue to challenge and take the title from a champion who hasn’t actually done much with being a champion yet?

    I think back fondly on times such as when Tito tore through 154 and tried to do the same at 160. It was great how the fights got made and fans were happy rather than the fights not getting made and idolators online whining about how Reid must fight Vargas first and Joppy and Hopkin must prove themselves worthy.

    You have double standards... Inoue a fighter you don't like you want to see him move up fighting one top fighter after the other untill he loses... For Gervonta a fighter you're a groupie of you want him to stay put and fight scrub after scrub cause you don't want to see him lose... Typical casual fanboy.

    I just want to see Gervonta get back in the game. I dropped him from my pfp ratings and moved Inoue to number 1. You’re the emotive one. I just want good fights to happen.

    Gervonta is glad that there's more depth at 135 cause in the depth of the division is where he picks his opponents not at the top...hes scraping the bottom of the barrel at 135 as we speak to find the next scrub to fight.

    After Carrington’s last fight I don’t think he’s that big of a problem for the other champs at 126. And he’s certainly not this threat to Inoue as some are making him out to be.

    Got dropped, was almost stopped by a bodyshot in the 11 round and was booed off the arena and this was against a nobody. No wonder he doesn't want to unify the belts.

    Forget Inoue or Ezpinoza those are mismatches. A guy like Angelo Leo will beat the **** out of him. Even if he doesn't unify one of these guys he's been cherrypicking will probably end up stopping him.​

    ''Star'' Carrington fought on the undercard of a 22 y/o who, like himself, had only fought 1 world title fight going in, promised a KO but couldn't even hurt his opponent and then proceeded to get dropped which the corrupt home ref didn't call and then later almost stopped after being badly hurt by a body shot from a fighter who barely let his hands go for half of the fight and isn't even a big puncher

    Had Palacios actually let his hands go, and when he did he looked very much like the boss in there, and not given away the first half of the fight, he would've undoubtedly knocked Carrington out and that was abundantly clear. But this is the guy Inoue is supposedly scared of? :risas3:

    I thought pretty well of Carrington prior to last night but I'm not even sure he could beat Inoue's mum now. Even this version of Inoue who hasn't scored a stoppage or KD in his 3 last fights would decapitate him and make him into a meme and he might well do it early too
