He's a full heavyweight world champion man. He can't just fight anyone anymore. He's very fortunate to be in the position he's in to begin with. Kadiru or Moore would be a tragedy. Worst HW title fights of the last 20 years easily. Even Wilder never fought anyone as poor as those two as champion.
No, there are a lot of good matchups on the undercard. These guys need to fight, it’s how they make a living.
Main event is a disgrace if Kadiru or Moore are selected. Neither belongs anywhere near a world title fight.
Bottom line--he's going to fight someone, some of us are going to watch, the world will go on, and he'll fight someone better the next time. They aren't cancelling a card and throwing away that training when he can have a fight.
We are on a boxing forum. We discuss boxing and all things boxing related, and we have zero control over any of it. So I'm not sure what your point is. I would probably tune in as well. Doesn't mean the fight wouldn't be a disgrace.
If he is so easy to beat, then why not beat him and then the two of them can fight over a belt? Not hard, here.
The point is that it is absurd to think that they are going to cancel a card and forgo all the training when he can have a run-out, and that is exactly what is going to happen.
A fighter can lose a fight. That's ok. Everyone who has watched the sport for a minute knows that. What is more, again, the issue is not the fighter...it is the title.
i mean...i've seen worse last minute replacements before. does joyce deserve the shot at the title? of course not but its not the worst fight on paper honestly. its just how the game goes sometimes. right place right time for joe.
No point really hating on this situation It's the new chapter of the WBA lineage and will improve once better fighters are in a position to challenge OK if initially leaves us with a weak champion and challenger but timing is everything It's not going to stay that way
He’s a clown in general from what I hear AND apparently he’s been injured before his last 2 fights So at best, he’s sus Also, who gets hurt when you’re supposed to be winding down your training camp
See, this doesn't make sense to me Yoka has 100 per cent not earned money from boxing that will enable him to not work again so I don't see the benefits of faking
