He looked like absolute sh*** last time out against old washed up Gashi too.

 

Kadiru has won nine in a row since he lost to the journeyman, including a win over a 22-0 opponent.

And Moore has only ever lost to Torrez, he's actually not a bad fighter.

I agree either would be a poor choice for a world title shot in normal circumstances, but considering it's a replacement with one week's notice, they are acceptable. Neither is that much worse than Yoka, who did NOTHING to deserve the title opportunity.

 

Yoka as poor as he is would spank either. Even Dave Allen would probably at the very least tune Kadiru up. as for Moore he's beaten no one and Torrez absolutely spanked him. Joyce should be the replacement. He's completely ready and is actually a better fight than Yoka would have been anyways. Either way we all know what's going to happen. If Itauma gets past Hrgovic(which he may very well do with or without controversy) they're going to feed him an easy belt in washed up Gassiev.

 

Suslenkov (who has a win over Hunter, and is undefeated and ranked by the WBA) deserves it more than Joyce, who has lost 4 of his past 5 fights. It's not fair to Suslenkov if his fight with Joyce gets cancelled because of this.

 

it would suck I agree. But still preferable to Gassiev defending one of the main world titles against a Kadiru or a Moore.

In his last fight, Savage lost every round and was knocked down by Brandon Moore, who isn't as bad as some are saying.

 

And before that he took a dive against Kuzmin in 1 round, and got brutally KO’d by Kudryashov before that. Fat bum.

 

He's bad enough that he doesn't belong anywhere near a world title fight I know that much.

Just announced: DAZN will be covering Saturday's Gassiev-Kadiru card in Moscow.
