    Bravo. Great thread and clued me in on some bizarro-world stuff of which I was unaware.

    It’s a shame we couldn’t work Lou Bizzarro in there somewhere for giggles.

    EDIT: Best I can do, in 1975 in his hometown of Erie, Pa., Lou won a 10-round decision over journeyman Pablo Rodriguez on a card at Commodore Downs racetrack. There were two pro fights on the card in between horse races.

    I don’t know if this qualifies but how about Fammo vs Harada in 1969 - ref and sole judge, Willie Pep, miscalculates a 15 round draw only to then revise his additions to a “controversial” win for Fammo? (Johnny was KD’d 3 times over the course of the fight).

    It’s already been said but I’ll echo the sentiments stating that this a great thread idea/subject.
