Adrian Broner with his streaming antics is currently more relevant than Floyd and actually making an income not losing money each year.

Folks can say what the want about Floyd but at the end of the day, he did a lot of good for a lot of fighter's and their families. Floyd paid for the funerals for Genero Hernandez, Diego Corrales, Arturo Gatti and Joe Frazier. I have also heard stories of him going even further than that and straight up supporting the families of fighters that fell on hard times. I know he helped out the family of former Olympic teammate Rhosi Wells after he was murdered. It's a shame he lost his money but he at least did some good for folks when he had the capacity to help.

He could also serve as the ultimate cautionary tale for young athletes that, no matter how much money they make, if they have terrible spending habits, they can always end up broke in the end.

I personally don't think he's broke. Just not allowed to spend like he's used to

If you want his autograph he's charging 400 bucks just like any other celebrity.

He does these things from time and time again like get in trouble with the law.

Part of the TMT empire that he has built with his own earnings.

Him getting sued from an outside promotion saved us all from him becoming relevant for a few months.

Absolutely! Unreal how many fighters squander their fortune. As a pretty frugal person, I can't fathom pissing that kind of money away.

I don't disagree. I'm just pointing out that he isn't the piece of **** that some make him out to be. He has done more than most to help out other fighters. It's a shame that he blew his fortune. That is 100% on him.

Yep, but I'm talking, even today's Tyson, for an exhibition. Everyone in the UK knows who he is and what a legend he is. Floyd Mayweather? Only the diehard boxing fans. And even majority of them would have no interest in watching a Mayweather exhibition, as was proved already haha.

Floyd only does what benefits him... it's not uncommon for people like him to do things that make themselves look good. In the UK, JImmy Savile did great charity work, but he always liked to make sure everyone knew about it. It's obvious to everyone that the guy's a dirtbag.

Not exactly true. The only reason I k ow that he supported Rhosi Wells family is because I know an old fighter from Texas that still knows his family. Most people don't even know who Rhosi was and Floyd helped them financially for years. Have a little faith in humanity. I'm not saying Floyd is a saint, but he is not as bad as some are trying to make him out to be.

Actually that would be interesting to see as an exhibition, AB vs Floyd. The boxing world was robbed of that fight a decade ago and seeing them fight in a grudge match, albeit an exhibition would be fun. But only if AB gets himself in shape, which is 9.9/10 not happening
