So what's the minimumweight division looking like nowadays?

Oscar Collazo and Pedro Taduran are the stand out fighters at that weight. Still hoping to see a fight between the two at some point. It’s perhaps the best match up to be made at that weight class.

 

And Collazo is a fantastic car crash waiting to happen. Collazo seems to get a lot of flack from hardcore fans, but I like him. Hes active, scores lots of finishes, and his recklessness makes his fights quite entertaining.

 

Collazo is a fun fighter and always ends his fights by knockout. But I agree he's a flawed fighter which is why I think Pedro Taduran can potentially be that guy to upset him. I think he's been getting criticized mainly for his unwillingness to fight Taduran for awhile, even saying in an interview that he has to "wait his turn" even though there's no other meaningful fights for him and he's already has his eyes set on moving up soon. It's too good of a fight to let this slip.

 

“Wait his turn” coming from someone fighting at minimumweight is insane! haha!

The current era is really taking the Floyd and Canelo mentality to heart.

 

Pure delusional. Makes absolutely no sense, who else is there for him to fight if not Pedro Taduran?
