No I don't think he has, but Crawford beat the best opposition (who would actually fight him) with ease, and he had the longevity. Boots might get there, but I'm not sold on him yet, he's beaten nobody of any serious caliber, and he's shown some heavy defensive issues, it's too early to put him in the same bracket as either.

If you look at Boots' resume at 28 compared to De La Hoya's the gulf is monumental. Crawford had the longevity and consistency, and was a victim of people avoiding him because he was very high risk low reward for years. I'd pick Oscar to beat Crawford at 147.

 

Crawford resigned with top rank when all the best fighters were over on PBC. Thats his fault Oscar, Floyd and many others left Bob Arum for that reason
