Two very underrated lightweight champs who have fought HOFers such as Ray Mancini, Hector Camacho, Julio Cesar Chavez, and Pernell Whitaker. Who do you favor in this tough bout between these two scrappers?

Mutt just isn’t slick enough to overcome the persistent southpaw, who wears him down for a mid- or late-round KO. JLR’s body punching would be Greg’s undoing.

I am going with Haugen, but it wouldn't surprise me if Jose won.

Ramirez all the way in this one. At his best, Ramirez was only a small bit below Chavez. Haugen was never at that level. Even at his best.

Ramirez comprehensively beat Whitaker which Haugen could not quite do. Using this as base case, I would favor Ramirez, though just slightly.

Ramirez never "comprehensively" beat Whitaker. It was a disputed decision.
