If Wlad beats Kabayel at the age of 50, how does it affect his legacy?

Kabayel is the mild version of Itauma .

Less hype, but enough hype to invite haters for it. Both are obviously good and in a time with little competition from other historically relevant heavyweights they are actually some of the strongest fighters right now. I don't have a problem with Itauma being put in the top ten right now based on how he performed as well as kabayel being at least in the top 3.

Doesn't yet mean they are historically relevant as it is a weak moment, but it is what it is. You won't find enough names to put above them to contradict this I assume.

And Wlad is 50, not 45. And almost a decade inactive compared to a year or whatever inactive. So it would be a much bigger win than Foreman over Moorer.

But there is almost no chance it happens. Wlad was on the slide in 2017, if not 2015, so he is doing nothing in 2026.

 

Is there still ongoing rumors of this fight like there was a couple years ago?

I agree he appeared to wear a high heel against Fury in the weigh in but for on the ring boxing it's no a advantage.

 

Top 3. It's probably the single most impressive feat in boxing history given all of the details.

1) Hasn't fought in almost 10 years.
2) Taking on the #2 rated fighter in the division.
3) Is 50 years old (5 years older than Foreman when he did it and 1 year older than Hopkins).
