Any word? He seemed to be struggling earlier in the week. Cazares arguably looked a bit weary last time out, I hope he can bring 100% or close to it because Calderon is getting old.

Could be another good fight. Anyone else looking forward? Got a pick? If I could be sure Cazares wasn't torturing himself to make the weight, I think I would pick him. I think Calderon is ready to be taken.

I saw some pics on another site and it looks like he made weight. He looked ripped as Bruce Lee. Compared to Calderon he looks like a beast, way too big almost like a man fighting a boy. I think they need same day weigh in's to end these mismatches ala Cotto, Pac, Margarito who come in huge on fight night with huge size advantages.

There is something in what you say, but then adversity makes greatness.

Also - you would still have idiots trying to strip huge amounts of weight fromt their frames, and fighting same day may be asking for it.

    I hate weight-making.

    You think Cazares will win?

yes i heard from boxrec that he made weight. i am waiting for this fight also but i don't know if it will be covered here in the P.I.

cazares should have won that fight if he had pressed on during that round (round 8 i think) where he almost ko'ed calderon. he had a whole 50 seconds there but he doesn't have the urgency to finish him off.

Yeah, he definitely made it but I was just wondering how tought it was to get there, how drained he will be. I think a fresh Cazares might be able to get the job done this time.

with his huge 5'6" frame, i guess it was really hard for him. he was more than 10 pounds overweight just last week. i am surprised that he is fighting calderon again since he was thinking of moving up to 115 after the first fight.

He must feel he can get it done. But if you gas against a pure boxer, you lose rounds, it really is that simple. Intrigueing fight.

Cazares was shredded at the weigh-in and surprisingly didn't appear to be too drained...

 Love the random chick at the end.

He looks amazing. But we've seen that before. Corales always looked great, but he made war to take the weight off.

I don't know. I want to pick Cazares, but I just feel he's going to gas off the back of the weight-making.

Thanks for posting the photos. Anyone got pictures of Calderon?

To me the result of this fight is not even important. After all, Hugo is a 112lbs and Ivan a 105lbs. But if Ivan wins again his greatness will be remembered for ever. IF he loses, may be those 105lbs champions will finally give Ivan the chance to clean the division.

Cazares made 107.9. He still had one foot on the weight scale when his team handled him the first water. Here another pic

This is why Puerto Rico can have a claim to be the boxing capital of the world because only there can 108 pound fight be such a big event.

Calderon looks fit to fight but you can see he looks soft in the face and not ripped, which leads me to agree with others that his frame is made for the 105lbs. I hate to say this but I think Cazares takes this one from my countryman. I am 5'6" tall and weigh 145 lbs and everybody thinks that I'm skinny, now I have no idea how Cazares can get down that low:?
