Why would he do it though when he has a heavyweight belt and can make heavyweight money and legacy? Also, he can't overtrain due to the multiple injuries.
It only took him 8 years, and luck. My point was that he should have stayed at Crusier, where he was popular and highly ranked/regarded. Instead he used his injuries as an excuse to move up in weight, and he has looked dreadful since then. The man weighs 230lbs and looks chubby, he can drop 15lb with diet alone, maybe lift lighter weights. But at this point there is no, well, point to it. He has been at Heavyweight too long and is now a paper titlist.
I think he's done right. He may be a "paper" titlist but he is one hook to the body away from turning that perception around.
