Good fight, both coming forward, both landing flush. Ataev landing more.

 

Didn't know Uzcategui was even fighting anymore.

Ataev is landing a lot, but hasn't really appeared to hurt him yet.

 

Such a shame it's not Gassiev v Joyce tonight, that would have been an intriguing fight worth watching.

 

Ataev's accumulation of punches finally hurt Uzcategui in round 9, he looks discouraged now.

 

Uzcategui is taking a bad beating now. Round 11 coming up.

He's 7 years younger than Beterbiev.

 

Yeah he's not that old but he's been around for a long time. Solid SMW at one point but it's ridiculous that he's fighting in a final eliminator at LHW in 2026.

 

The boxer with hair is headbutting the bald boxer.

 

Ataev needed a fight like this, in order to help in his adjustment to the pros.

The former amateur Gold Medalist still has a amateurish style, but late in the fight today he started to sit down on his punches a bit more.

He only fought once in 2024 and once in 2025, the inactivity didn't help his progress. But it's good that he's had two fights so far in 2026.

 

This wasn't a bad fight for him for where he's at. I just can't grasp how the WBA made this a final eliminator.

Yallyev looks like he carries some ancient DNA.
