    Hmmm,

    The narrative about the Brawl in Montreal is somewhat disingenuous.

    Ray didn't fight Duran's fight cos of Duran's behaviour or whatever else Leonard span post-fight. Before the fight when asked about how they would deal with Roberto, Angelo and Ray both remarked how Ray was the bigger man and would take the fight to Duran.

    We saw how Ray boxed - what he did in New Orleans wasn't typical Ray and how he fought in Montreal wasn't something he purposely chose to do. He said he would take the fight to Duran and found out that he had to fight that way to survive the onslaught, otherwise Duran would've drowned him.

    The fight is one of the greatest fights bar none - it was two elite ATG monsters showing you everything about the man they are in the ring. Losing is no shame here. It really wasn't imo.
