-I never, not once claimed that I wanted Joyce to get the fight. I wanted Suslenkov to get it on a week notice since he was on the same card. I specificslly mentioned this in my two previous responses to you. You’re making stuff up just like you did with the non-existing offers made to Hrgovic and Miller.

-The onus is indeed on you to provide proof if you claim offers were made to Hrgovic, Miller, Suslenkov or anyone else. You can’t, because obviously you made them up other than the one for Itauma.

-You brought up Stiverne’s loss to King to discredit him while telling me to give Gassiev a pass for his loss to Wallin. I only mentioned your double standards on the subject. Of course, both losses should be taken into consideration when evaluating their careers.

-I couldn’t about Stiverne’s illness that you brought up. That was a cheeky comment in reference to you expecting Gassiev to be praised for coming Back from injuries.

-Again, your opinion on Stiverne is opinion. The ranking of the opponent he beat isn’t.

-I don’t give a **** about Stiverne. I’m only mentioning him along with Charles Martin as other titlist who got similar or more ridicule, to point out that It’s part of boxing fandom and It’s no reason to make it personal. And you’re proving my point for me by showing Stiverne the same disrespect you whine about people are showing Gassiev. And that’s perfectly normal, you as everyone else, are entitled to it.

-The subject here is Gassiev, I don’t give a **** about his ethnicity. And he is one of the last fighters to claim to be discriminated against. Like I said, I’m not interested in a debate like that.

-I’m lecturing you on truth because you’ve obviously been lying about offers made to Hrgovic and Miller. There’s honestly no respectful way to put this, that’s what you did.

-I never said Pulev wasn’t top30. Read my first response to you again. I specifically say top30 HW younger than 45, meaning those who are 45 aren’t included. When I include them, then yes, he did beat a top30 HW. Not hard to understand, is it?

-Gassiev was a great CW, but that has nothing to do with his standing at HW. Something to agree to disagree on, same as what happened in sparring.

-I’m holding out on my conclusion because being swerwed by Itauma doesn’t justify his entire HW career. You probably feel the same way, otherwise you wouldn’t need to bring up made up offers to Hrgovic and Miller.

Two things have nothing to do with each other. That was the past.

Fair enough. When you are citing that Joyce was offered it, it seems like that is what you are saying. But if you, like me, recognize that it would have been a travesty, good man.

As did I, but we just don't know if Suslenkov was willing to take it or not. There can be no judgment on this.

They publicly published their short list.

    Making stuff up...?

“I really like Moses Itauma. I think he’s the real deal. He’s been so far extremely impressive and nobody wants to fight him. But, trust me, Murat Gassiev will embrace that.”.......

“We would like any fight. Bring it on,” Siesta said. “We would like any fight. Murat Gassiev is 32 years of age. If he will be shying away from anybody, what is the point to hold the title?”

Siesta said negotiations with respective parties are already underway, and he said that although the May fight between WBO titleholder Fabio Wardley and Daniel Dubois was being eyed, the likes of Zhilei Zhang, Filip Hrgovic and Jarrell Miller couldn’t be discounted.

“There are plenty of heavyweights that we’re all talking to, most of them,” Siesta said. “We obviously know that some of them are fighting each other. And it’s pointless to speculate right now, but there are some free, so-called unemployed heavyweights right now with a great legacy and great name that we are in communication with.

Absoutley rubbish. If you were following, they announced the guys they wanted to fight. That is as far as I, or you, or any fan can know about it. One thing that you admitted. ITAUAMA SWERVED GASSIEV.

So now you are reversing the exact logic I used on you. Yes, losing to a .500 fighter is several orders of magnitude worse than losing to a alphabet ranked contender. Losing to a Wallin is reasonable, losing to a King is not.

    This is not grammatical.

Based on cited facts. Pulev has better wins and less embarrassing defeats. I will continue to state my opinion and back them up with facts.

You brought these guys up. Neither is an appropriate parallel. The Martin one is particularly dumb because he beat an undefeated, highly ranked fighter for his title. What is your point, that only guys you like are supposed to win titles?

If you don't give a damn, then don't bring them into the conversation. How many of these little turn-arounds are you going to do?

Gassiev is not Stivene. Gassiev is a man who already has a legacy in this sport, and he's trying hard to build on it. The two fighters have nothing whatsoever to do with each other.

First you say that you don't care about Stiverne, and then here we are still talking about him.

OK, so stick your head ion the sand and pretend that what is being said doesn't matter because you don't care.

They published that these are two of the guys they are interested in fighting. You admitted that Itauma swerved him so....

Yeah, you put qualifiers on it to minimize the win. The sentence was not grammatical so I may have slightly misunderstood, but it was still a cheap tactic to minimize the win.

It doesn't have to. It wasn't the point. The point is that comparing him to Stiverne and Martin is low. Gassiev is a real champion, and is working to rebuild his career to be a champion again.

But how are you holding him accountable to bad fights when guys won't fight him? Ridiculous.

I feel safe to make judgement on the Suslenkov situation. Another point to agree to disagree on.

Anyone can publish a list or talk about potential opponents, that certainly doesn’t make it official offers. You specifically stated that Hrgovic and Miller were offered the shot and rejected, that’s made up.

I’m mentioning Martin and Stiverne because they also were titlists who took their opportunities just like Gassiev, and they received ridicule too as that’s how boxing fandom works. I’m bringing them up to show you that’s what happens when fighters become titlist in a relatively easy way. I don’t give a **** about them, but they’re relevant to the subject. Not hard to understand, is it?

Adding to the point above, You think Gassiev’s work at cruiser legitimizes his current status, and puts him ahead of other titlists, and I’m telling you not everyone has to share this view. For me and many others, what fighters accomplished at a different weight class about 8 to 10 years ago has no relevance when discussing their current status. Again, what’s so hard to understand about this?

You are indeed allowed to state your opinion just as everyone else. And It’s stupid and comical to get sore over people’s opinion on fighters and make it personal.

I did minimize the win over 45 year old Pulev because It deserves to be minimized when It’s the only notable win of a titlist.

I don’t care about the “discrimination” on this subject because It has no relevance. Gassiev is a guy who was just gifted a belt, had all but 2 of his title fights in his country and those two were on neutral field. If anything, he can be considered one of the privileged ones.

I’m holding him accountable because there’s no evidence whatsoever to suggest anyone other than Itauma wouldn’t fight him. Again, look up Hrgovic/Gassiev, the only thing that’ll come up will be Gassiev turning down the fight a few years back citing an injury.

But its not based on any reality. You have no idea. None.

So I showed where where Al Siesta stated who they were in talks with, and you reject it, but you think you know if Suslenkov wanted the fight. I think that says it all about your juedgement.

And first you bring them up, then say you don't care, now you are pushing them. Whatever. They have nothing to do with Gassiev. Nothing.

Said nothing about it legitimizing his current status. I said that he is qualitatively different than the men you are mentioning.

By the way, your points are really not that great, so please stop posturing.

And yet I am absolutely correct that Gassiev has done everything he can to get good competition in the ring. I was at the start, and I am now.

A top thirty opponent is a top thirty opponent. You tried to minimize it based on his age relative to Wallin. The point is he is trying desperately to get better competition the ring to add to that. As true now as when I first said it.

But you keep the topic going.

You are holding him accountable for doing what he has to do to become a champion, and trying to get good competition the ring. Good job. I showed you where Al Siesta said who they were in talks with, and you choose not to believe it, but you believe your own judgement that Suslenkov would have took the fight even though we just don't know that.

    Good job again.

It is based on the fact that they fought on the same undercard, managed by the same promoter, ranked by WBA and we know Suslenkov’s opponent was considered.

“We’re talking to a few fighters, there are some HWs who are not involved in big fights. Hrgovic, Zhang, Miller, Hunter the usual suspects.”

That’s it, that’s the actual quote. It’s just some promoter spouting some names. There’s nothing here whatsoever to suggest there was ever any actual offers, let alone offers rejected. That part is made up by you.

I explained why they’re related to the subject of Gassiev as fellow HW paper titlists despite the fact that I don’t care about them. Me not caring about them doesn’t make them irrelevant to the subject. I couldn’t make this any clearer.

You did. You tried to argue against him being one of the worst HW champions ever by bringing up his work at CW, including his loss to Usyk. You’re backtracking now.

And your points are based on agenda and emotional attachment. That’s not even my imagination, you mentioned one of the reasons why Gassiev should be supported is because he’s Eastern European.

In your imagination only. In reality, there’s nothing, no actual evidence whatsoever to suggest this.

I did minimize it, this is well acknowledged. I don’t know why you’re repeating this.

    This part is just repititive.

Which tells you nothing about whether or not Suslenkov wanted it on short notice. Good job diverting.

He clearly named who they were in talks with. You believe your own nonsense in your mind, but disregard when the promotor says something. Good job.

Yet you keep talking about them. In any event, they have nothing to do with Gassiev. I guess they are just examples of other fighters that won titles that you don't like so you have to degrade them.

No, I said that he is qualitatively different from the guys you mentioned as he has a great legacy already.

And yet you continue in this argument only by ignoring evidence presented to you and doubling-down on beleiving stuff that is admittedly only in your own mind. Projection. Look it up.

This is factually incorrect. You are ignoring what you don't want to see. Good job.

Because it is a cheap thing to do.

    Whatever.

    From a recent article...

....According to Jay and, Gassiev’s promoter, Al Siesta, the Russian former unified cruiserweight champ turned WBA heavyweight boss has loftier plans.

In all honesty I can't see at all why itauma wouldn't want to Fight gassiev. Do you see it? I don't know what the story is about that fight and why it looks as though itaumas team avoided gassiev, but i don't get it.

The only way itauma loses that fight is if he gets tired in the late rounds.

Gassiev is pretty much the best at standing in front of you and letting his hands go. Beautiful combinations, effortlessly flowing like no other current heavyweight has shown us. Also a great punch.

But when he doesn't get in range, he is content stalking his opponent for the full fight. Just walking behind them. So it should be easy for itauma to outpoint him. And i actually think he could just as well knock him out. He did show that he felt kadirus punches and I think he wont see itauma's as easily.

So maybe they fear that the psychological pressure gets too much for itauma or that he punches himself out because he gets stressed by the stalking dangerous gassiev or that he actually lacks the stamina to move enough for 12 rounds. Maybe it is just that they don't want to risk a few unlikely outcomes.

But he surely would go into the fight as a big betting favorite? Don't you think?
