Rico Verhoeven vs Agit Kabayel for the WBC Heavyweight Championship

That's what we don't know...

Either:
1) Usyk didn't take it seriously
2) Usyk is declined
3) Rico is far better than anyone expected.

It could be a combination of two of these, or all 3, or just one of them.

Only one would suggest Kabayel would've had any chance (#2) so it's far from impossible that Kabayel would've done worse.

Then again, we can be 99% sure Usyk would've won without a decline factor - at that point, it's really father time who'd have won.

TBH, Usyks already basically cleared out the division - AJ and Fury had proven waaay more than Kabayel and realistically so had Dubois (and will likely continue to do more, which is unclear with Kabayel given his history of taking the easy route).

Yea, it would've been good to see it, but historically it would've been an afterthought and wouldn't be likely to have been seen as going out against one of the best - certainly nowhere near beating a damn near prime ATG Vitali whilst near to shot.
