Zuffa have been brutal with cutting fighters on their roster after a loss, they’ve cut some decent fighters who were in good competitive fights on their US cards. Eridson Garcia for example was harshly cut after a loss.

Bosh will need to win his first fight and not just win but look spectacular otherwise he’ll get cut, although it will still probably be a financially smart move.

 

Babic rematch?

 

Babic is planning a return. I dunno though, I think Zuffa might match Fisher with one of their HWs. IMO they won’t tolerate the low level fights Fisher wants so I can’t see this ending well.

 

Just heard him talking on Talksport just now, seems he's left MR on much better terms than Benn and was advised by them he should take the money being offered as they couldn't match it.

 

Great guy Johnny seems. Obviously he'll have to be matched properly, but after Hearn put Joshua in with Jake Paul how can he have the nerve to say he couldn't justify Johnny's level of opposition to DAZN?

 

He isn't that good but logically use him as a support for London type cards against opponents he can beat and you have a ticket seller there and big social media personality

 

How is that the same?

 

That would have been the ideal rebuild for him with Matchroom.

Use him on London cards, match him sensibly, and he could have actually helped revive the sport locally, similar to what Allen is doing in Doncaster. Matchroom have a lot of young talent from that area as well, so there was something to build around.

Zuffa don’t really have that supporting cast, so you can only speculate how Bosh is going to be used. As someone else said, he’s hard to match now. He’s inactive, vulnerable, and one fight in a year for someone in his physical prime is crazy for the level he’s operating at.

 

It’s hard to see him being successful tbh

 

This is exactly how MR were handling him. They knew his limitations , although they did think his limits were above and beyond Dave Allen , it was no surprise to anybody that he is chinny at best, plenty of heart yes but chinny.
