As someone who is part Hun I hate to say it but it's Jersey Joe IMO. Im actually a big fan of JJW

Gotta go with Bugner though they were pretty much the same level. Bugner was a reluctant warrior but a talented one.

I guess I’d go with the best version of JJW also but Bugner isn’t going anywhere over the course of 15 rounds.

Bugner was talented as already said and I wouldn’t discount his chances altogether.

Bugner had pretty quick hands himself and a good punch when he was inclined to throw with bad intentions.

I’m thinking Walcott gets a decision. Joe Bugner was pretty hard to stop when he was in his prime and was good at neutralizing threats. But I think Walcott would be a little busier and more effective

I'd also pick "Jersey Joe"--more tools in the toolbelt with sneaky hard punching power. UD or late stoppage.

Looks like another one of those bouts where you're talking to the tv telling Bugner to let his hands go.

This is exactly correct. Bug was such a conundrum for me. Very talented, could handle everything coming his way but you had to set a fire under his stool to get him going. Sat there like a statue for 15 rounds against Jack Bodell and Ali in the rematch. Also launched a body attack against Cooper in one of the early rounds, which clearly hurt Henry and then he just stopped and it went 15 instead of finishing the job. I see Jersey Joe banging in every punch in his arsenal for 15 rounds to a decision win.

That's exactly how This would play out.
Frustrating fight, with perhaps both men rattling the other.
    Jersey gets a decision.

If Walcott could KO Ezzard Charles he could stop Joe Bugner...just my humble opinion.

JJW in a comfortable decision - he could drop Bugner along the way, but JB would move and survive, and Joe would coast and chase but content with a win.
