Ali only had trouble with him because he didnt carry a big punch

I have Joe ranked over people like Ezzard Charles, Patterson, Ingo, Norton, Dokes, Page, Tubbs, Sharkey, Ingo, Ellis, etc.

 

If you interchange Frazier for Holy that would be my list

 

I'm a bigger fan of Joe than Vander by a country mile. I ain't gonna argue that, but Vander had a longer prime and fought everyone and anyone in the division. In the end that causes just a bit of separation for me.

 

The great Smokin' Joe Frazier is top 10.

 

I have him 7th.

 

Frazier was the best champ up to the time of his reign except for Ali Liston and Joe Louis. At this point hes pushed to top 20 only because of the size and ability of the heavyweights of the last 25 years.

 

I dont get this way of thinking.We are not ranking on a head to head basis purely on ability and achievements

 

Who voted for him as The GOAT? And why?

 

Same situation for the person that voted him in the top 5.

 

I placed him 17th in my list. So, he is a top 20 boxer for me.

Slightly taken aback that you have 16 above him, apart from the consensus agreed top 4, Ali, Louis, Holmes, Lewis, who are the 12 you place above Frazier, just wondering, no agenda.

Regarding Joe Frazier's all-time ranking, I currently have him at number 9. You could make a case for him being as high as #3, which might be a little high, but I wouldn't argue with that. The lowest I could see him being is around 14 or 15.

Many great fighters are interchangeable in these subjective rankings anyway.
