That is still the one heavyweight fight I'm most interested in seeing.

I would like to see Kabayel (and, the rest of these guys: Dubois, Gassiev, etc.) actually WIN a championship before I start pondering their defenses. In no way, shape, or form did Kabayel legitimately win a championship. He neither beat the champ, nor beat the highest ranked available contender. The state of these belts have never been more fraudulent.

And Kabayel's one fight per year is rather pathetic for a world champion. He fought a journeyman last time out, and was given an unearned quick stoppage win by the referee in Germany.

The WBC should force him to make a title defense in September or October.

Anyone from the top 15 BUT these.

    10 Richard Riakporhe
    11 Andrii Novitskyi
    12 Bakhodir Jalolov
    14 Labinot Xhoxhaj
    15 Otto Wallin

If he chooses one of those, which I expect him to. He's chosen a weak first defence

Andrii Novitskyi is a good fighter, I wouldn't mind seeing him in a title fight. Jalolov too.
Riakporhe is not an ideal opponent, but he'd be okay.

Those in the top 15 who Kabayel shouldn't fight:

Rico Verhoeven (he should beat a contender first)
    Tyson "Belly" Fury
    Deontay Wilder (shot old boxer)
    Lawrence Okolie (drug cheating octopus)
    Labinot Xhoxhaj (mediocre)
    Otto Wallin (mediocre)

This is his 2nd defense. He defended against Knyba.

That would be an interesting fight. I'd also love to see Dubios get his ass beat and Kabayel is more than capable of that.

No, Usyk was the WBC titleholder at that time.

Let him stop the Itauma hype train and feed Moses his first test.

I have a feeling it won't be a guy in the top 10.

1 Tyson Fury doubt fury takes thhs
    2 Lawrence Okolie maybe
    3 Moses Itauma busy
    4 Filip Hrgovic busy
    5 Anthony Joshua busy
6 Frank Sanchez goes ibf route
7 Deontay Wilder trying to fight usyk
8 Rico Verhoeven not sure he boxes again if no usyk rematch. Probably would fight a higher profile name
    9 Efe Ajagba signed zuffa
    10 Richard Riakporhe maybe

My guess is he tries wilder or rico for money and name value
