Instead we are getting Usman vs DDP. Edit: I missed that this happened. Oh well, I guess Usman vs Belal still make sense, and its a way for Usman to get back into title contention.
The Usman v DDP today was a fun fight to watch, Usman can take a shot. i think he would keep cracking Belal with the right to win a decision. Belal isn't going to out wrestle him. considering how horrid JDM is at wrestling and belal couldn't do anything against him.
Usman KOs him. He had an actual title reign and just went 5 rounds with an elite MW. Completely different level of fighter. Belal has also slowed down to the point where even if Usman comes in with banged up knees he will still probably win a kickboxing match. Belals wrestling was nowhere to be seen against a relatively pedestrian Bonfim who should have lost to an older than dirt Wonderboy.
