Pacheco's promoter E-Hearn revealed the other day that Pacheco turned down a fight vs Sheeraz because he doesn't feel ready for him. I think that was a wise move on his part because Sheeraz can match him for size and range but he hits a lot harder and I'm confident Pacheco won't be able to take that power because it's different

Yeah, ref was looking for an excuse to stop it for a couple rounds. Had Pacheco just gone balls out assault, ref would have stopped it.

Pacheco offered a good performance, I'd love to see him fight Sheeraz, Munguia or Adames. Easy work for Cruz, we'll wait for the Cuban to take on more important fights.

Can't wait to see Andy Cruz running 130. Pacheco still strike me as being very middle-of-the-road, and I think if he were to grow into a world-beater, he'd have shown off his credentials by now.

I am very mixed on Pacheco. I mean this fight did not do much for us. Aleem was not ranked coming in any of the 4 orgs or Ring. He had nothing for Pacheco.

Pro: Good work rate, hits hard though he is not a big KO puncher, has good punch variety in combination and to the body

Con: not a huge punchers, could be the difference maker when he faces a big puncher. He got hit with a lot of left hooks and is a little slow to bring his hands back.

Undecided: chin, hasn't faced a banger. He has not really stepped up to the bigs yet and has plenty to show us still

He is still very young and probably being managed the right way, I was just hoping he would have gone in vs someone better than Aleem

I must be Pacheco's biggest fan on here. I think he looks pretty air tight - and I think he outboxes Sheeraz pretty comfortably. I know Aleem wasn't a top guy but Pacheco was pretty much punch perfect other than not stepping on the gas sooner, could've ended the fight a few rounds faster. His style means he's gonna be an awkward fight for anyone tho. I'd love to see him vs Bek the Bully, that would be a banger.
