Does the Russian stand a chance against a washed up Mike Tyson?

Whilst Tyson would be dangerous for a round or two, I'd back Povetkin to make it out of those early rounds, from which point he'd be a heavy favourite against that version of Mike.

I think Povetkin stops him mid to late after a few early scares.

Povetkin wins on points with some rocky moments.

That version of Tyson could still beat Chagaev. Tyson from the Lewis fight was still a decent contender. He’d’ve beaten guys like John Ruiz, Hasim Rahman or Shannon Briggs most likely.

Points is possible as well. Tyson had a chin.

The washed up version of Tyson that fought Lewis would lose to almost any serious contender at that point. He was AWFUL against Lewis. No way he beats Povetkin at that point. Prime for prime, Tyson destroys Povetkin.

Tyson from the Lewis fight gets beaten by any decent version of Povetkin. He'd be dangerous for about 1 round and then he'd get pummelled

Although Tyson's peak is higher than Povetkin's peak - Povetkin would win this fight.
Povetkin would beat this Tyson, like he beat White Tyson :)

Tyson is dangerous for three or four rounds tops.
After that he's getting beaten up by Povetkin.

Stand a chance? I mean, it's at a point where Tyson going against another mid-range combination puncher is going to give him ample, ample chance to land something game-changing, but it's a high class mid-ranger with durability, so I've got to favour Povetkin, let alone just saying he stands a chance. That said, I'm not going to discount Tyson though, no matter what anybody says here. I really do not think he was so bad by Lennox as is made out. Sure, he's awful compared to the guy who leveled Holmes, but he's an okay contender with a lot of two-fisted power and durability by the time Lennox fought him. I saw plenty enough of him leading up to Lennox to both say he was heavily faded and still recognized that if you're as good as he had been, you can still lose that much and be a dangerous enough contender yet, as I contend he was until the Lennox beating.
