Rocky Marciano (CIRCA 1951) Versus George Foreman (CIRCA 1997)

I'd pick the more experienced and bigger Foreman. Maybe by a late KO.

Only chance Rocky has to survive is jumping on his bycicle and running away.

But since Rocky was a brawler I doubt that happening.

The second Rocky stops and tries to fight Big George the fight ends.

 

George's weight advantage, his thudding jab and power, even at this age, would still have Rocky battered and bruised.

Rocky's too small for Foreman.. today hed probably be a LHW..

 

Rocky v Beterbiev would be a more realistic match up.

 

There is no version of George Foreman that Rocky Marciano has anything for, it simply is as bad a stylistic or physical matchup for Rocky as a human brain or AI could produce. Young George lifted Joe Frazier off his feet with an uppercut. Young or Old George might send Rocky into a back somersault with an uppercut.

 

I dont think anyone aside from Liston would beat Marciano as bad as Foreman would.

Big guy who could just walk through Rockys shots and has power is basically an unbeatable archetype for Rocky with all due respect.

 

Watch the first Frazier fight then subtract 1 round. Rocky may actually know right away unlike Frazier who didn’t realize till his second fight that he couldn’t go head first towards Big George. If Marciano tries to stay away and box then it s a 2nd round KO not a 1 st round.

 

Rocky could always take a gun in with him. A crossbow. A few mates. A hammer. A knife. A few prayers. Still no chance.
