You have completely missed the whole point of what is being debated here. The reasoning for Wilder being top 3 was based on 3 fights with Fury. I’ve asked how is what Wilder accomplished in his career more impressive than what Parker or Anthony Joshua has done.

You say your view is consistent with the forums view yet the other thread of top 15 heavies post Klitschko the overall opinion is Wilder is at 6 actually reinforcing my point that he isn’t 3rd.

you are acting like Stiverne was a top heavy, he wasn’t, he was placed perfectly to grab a belt when Vitali stepped away. Exactly the same as Wilder. Had that been Joe Joyce, Dillian Whyte, Joseph Parker, Zhang and probably another 5 fighters, they too would have all claimed that WBC belt.

Another guy that’s bringing up dropping Fury in fight 1 as an accomplishment, again reinforcing my point that his whole legacy is built off that. Outside of that you have Ortiz, who himself beat who in his career pre or post the wilder fights.

Parker Usyk Fury Joshua Dubois. Tell me how Wilder qualifys over all 5 of them. You mention Wilders win over Chisora, so Parker’s win as a 4/1 underdog vs Wilder must count for something.

Wilder fought a few decent journeymen in his comeup, and even an OK prospect or two.
Stiverne was top 10 solely because he held a paper title, and because the WBC really wanted Arreola to be champion.
Luis Ortiz was a solid top 10 guy, with a few good wins under his belt.
The other genuine top 10 on Wilder's record are: Fury, Parker, Zhang.

And this is a man with 10 title defenses. Utterly ridiculous. Arthur Abraham at middleweight had a better title reign than that.

As someone who isn't a fan of Joshua, how was his career a disappointment? In terms of history no he doesn't compare. That doesn't make him a disappointment. In the wasteland that was after Wlad's reign, he was a top 3 guy for the majority of his career and two time world titlist......................

Y'all use the wrong words when describing some people's career. Andy Ruiz's career is a disappointment. Luis Ortiz's career is a disappointment. Wilder's career............actually he overachieved so bad example . Joshua's career is not a disappointment, he just didn't achieve as much as some wanted him to.

Joshua had a disappointing run, but still the best of his era. Fury and Wilder were nobodies who ducked everyone who wasn't a bum or washed up

    Really???

Won WBA, IBF, WBO HW titles in 3 separate fights
    Is 9 - 4 - 0 in world title fights
    Won 2 unification bouts
    Beat 3 reigning HW champions
Beat the Ring #1 at that time
    2 time HW champion

Always seemed willing to take on the top fighters
    Doesn't look bad at all

Sure he has had losses. It happens and happens more often when you face top contenders fairly frequently.
You mention Lewis and Wladimir (who are both excellent ATG HW champions) and they both suffered defeats

For everyone that mentions how Fat little Ruiz beat AJ, they should also remember Fury should have a loss on his record against fat McDermont

Im a believer in resume and body of work. He doesnt have it enough to be ranked any higher than 6th best heavyweight post Klitschko. I dont mind the discussion of this guy could beat this guy thats a matter of opinion. When it comes down to facts, resumes and body of work have to be compared, his is not of the level it should be for a guy with 5 years as a World Champion fighting at least twice a year and i cant accept him being placed ahead of Usyk Fury Dubois AJ and Parker when it comes to what they have done in the sport.

Ill never understand why he didnt fight Dillian Whyte, i gave him a great chance in that fight and at that time Dillian was at his peak in 2017/2018, it would have been a great scalp on his resume to at least put forward but the only name he defeated was Luis Ortiz that holds any merit and even then, how good was Ortiz? He himself lacks any meaningful wins at the top of the sport.

When theres guys who never held a full world title that have better wins on their resumes in your era and you was a world champion for that long, theres a issue. Joyce beating Dubois & Parker i put ahead of anything Wilder done in the ring. Zhang cracking the chin of the juggernaut twice and then adding Wilder to his resume as well as arguably beating Hrgovic in most opinions. Whyte beating Parker, Browne, Povetkin Helenius, Chisora x2 & Rivas during the same time period is a better run than Wilder went on as champion.

    2015 - 2020
    Becomes Champion vs Stiverne.
    Eric Molina
    Johann Duhaupas
    Artur Szpiika
    Chris Arreola
    Gerald Washington
    Bermane Stiverne
    Luis Ortiz
    Tyson Fury
    Dominic Breazeale
    Luis Ortiz
    Loses belt vs Fury

People are genuinely looking at that run saying thats a top heavyweight. Not a single one of them defences minus the overweight inactive Fury defence is a genuine Top 10 Heavyweight of the past decade, Luis Ortiz you could argue makes the Top 15

Would you have Hrgovic ahead as well as he holds an official win over Zhang?
He beat Joyce as well, but that was after the Zhang loss

Fury got a controversial decision which many had him winning anyway. He was 21, never been past 4 rounds, was fighting a veteran and despite the 10 round war didn't quit, got the nod. Joshua was 29, got beat down and quit in 7 rounds.

Wilder is above Parker in that thread. Parker and Dubois have only made gains on Wilder since 2023, prior to that Wilder was well above them both. And before Usyk beat AJ, Wilder was a clear top 3. He is and forever will be one of the four most important HW's post-Wlad, prior to Dubois making a name for himself against AJ/Wardley.

Wilder is above Parker because he was top 4 ranked for 9 years, has 10 defences, historic KO power, the Fury trilogy, is America's no.1 HW this century thus far and two of his four losses were well past prime, whereas all of Joey 11's four are prime losses.

You assert that Chisora, Joyce, Whyte, Parker and Zhang could match Wilder's record but this is unrealistic. Zhang drew with journeyman Forrest on a terrible gas tank. Chisora fails vs Stiverne 1. Any of them can lose to Ortiz, especially over 2 fights. Fury can 10-2 or 12-0 any of them. Joshua would likely fail to make 10 defences as well given he failed vs Ruiz.

jeeez dissapotining? - not really, not as dominate as advertised? Sure
but unified champion, multiple wins over ranked contenders, massive fights in the UK, Saudi and the US..
He's been an elite level fighter for years. Strange take
