It took him 7 rounds to stop 46-year-old Wach, who is barely in the top 300; Fury should retire for the good of boxing...

Probably true. But today was still ultimately a sparring session for him to get a few rounds in.

I don't think it taking him 7 rounds to get Wach out of there is the concern. Sure Wach is 46 y/o and just a punchbag for prospects at this stage of his career but he's still tough and durable and a 7 round stoppage isn't unimpressive for Belly. It's more how Belly looked which is concerning

It was an exhibition/sparring session for charity, and a very soft tuneup. I wouldn't take this too seriously.

I doubt Fury put much care and effort into beating a 46 year old dinosaur.

I mean, a durable guy and a guy who just doesn't punch that hard...I don't know that I expected much different as far as pure outcomes.

I have never been a Fury guy. But Wach was so far removed from the top level that Fury had to look horrible to carry him.

Fury easily beat Makhmudov not that long ago. He might have been overrated. But he's not trash. He's like top 10-top 15 kinda HW in a deep division. He didn't fall off Mount Everest.

It was a real fight, its literally on his record now. But this is Fury, you never know which version you are getting with him, and I highly doubt he took this fight seriously at all.

Wach didn't come to win, and Fury carried him. It's probably that simple.

Fury looked quite good in flashes vs Makhmudov.

Fury had another gear or two....Wach is not going to make him tingle. The death knell of an AJ loss will make him tick, he will win the first 6 rounds against AJ easily...problem is he is too shot to stop AJ so it's 12 round fight all of a sudden and AJ can punch where as Fury after round 6 cannot....and Fury doesn't have the stamina workrate to press AJ anymore...so basically he will only outpoint AJ not very emphatically. Maybe 9 rounds and drop 3/4 breather rounds which are still close.

Thing is under Usyk, AJ is coming to press for the entire duration. Which might play into Fury's hands but it's a mindset to win regardless of his inability to execute technically to win. A few years back it would be christmas come early because Fury could walk AJ onto shots all night long...now Fury won't do that, he will smoth, create too much distance, mess around, not counter. Just a horrible mess of a fight to try and create control edging rounds with safety in mind.

It's a sparring match. I'm not gonna read too much into it, Fury clearly never left first gear because he didn't need to.

If AJ takes the full 12 against Pringle, I won't read much into that either. Both of them are just shaking off rust and will come in, i expect, far sharper if they do face off.

You can't take that match serious. It was two guys who got of the couch and boxed a few rounds until one f them said I'm done. Then they showered , dressed , and headed for some drinks.

    It wasn't a real fight.

    Why even bother then?

Could have just got someone into the gymnasium to do this. It was a disgraceful fight/performance. I'm staggered anyone is even interested in this big fat, slob, arm punching, **** speaking dosser anymore.
