Fair points, work rate matters for sure, but Joyce was also a high volume fighter, just slower.

I just think that Kabayels bodyshots take out so much steam it's very difficult to apply that consistent pressure, especially if it prevents Dubios from loading up by being too close. Dubios would need to stick behind that jab of his and keep as far away from Kabayel as possible in order to beat him, because a bodypuncher will always have the advantage up close.

Depends, Dubious either takes it with a few knockdowns and over the fight distance OR Dubious throws a wobbly which he does quite a lot and gets chinned over just about surviving or losing by TKO.

good point. As someone else here said, power punchers usually beat pressure guys but the body punching could negate that

One of the best heavyweight fights that can be made that doesn't involve Usyk.

Isyk. Did Ivan and Usyk have a baby? :p

    Because that'd be terrifying...

In all seriousness, it would be one hell of a fight to make for sure. Great way to start unifying the belts.

Have long struggled posting from my phone.

But yeah, Dubois vs Kabayel would be a fun one. If Dubois vs Wardley 2 pushes ahead, and Kabaye vs Gassiev comes together, the winners meeting could theoretically result in a 3 belt unified.

...then Usyk slips out, steals them back, drops them again, and retires.

@Serge would have a field day

So would I. That would be brilliantly hysterical... only next time, he needs to do the PR stunt and dump them in the trash on social media.

Narrowly Kabayel. On his best day he wins a dogfight with the body punching, but he blows hot and cold, whereas Dubois is at least always ready to go.

Good, good fight....exactly the kind they need, and yeah, if they did it, the winner would definitely create a new lineage.

 indeed. He could bide his time and wait for a stylistically favourable undisputed champion to emerge who he would still beat capable of beating even a few years from now
