You're acting like it's a PPV. It wasn't, it was just a sparring match to slap into their Netflix show.
Fury fights to the level of his opponent. His biggest issue when Joshua comes calling is he has to back away at angle and not a straight line. He corrects that he’ll be ok
I don't care about the PPV aspect as I wouldn't pay for this crud to begin with. It annoys me that this is sanctioned as a real professional fight when it's just a sparring session. It's a charade and boxing these days has far too many of them. It disrespects the sport and fans in my view.
Worse fights have been sanctioned at a professional level tbf, at least Wach is a professional boxer.
There was no point to this fight. You'd have to pay me to watch it. I don't know how any one watched it and then come to some conclusion he would fight like this against Joshua or any other actual opponent.
I'm puzzled why someone reportedly earning 100m per fight is wasting his time fighting a bum in thailand? I don't think these guys earn anywhere near as is promoted.
AJ’s biggest flaw is his Glass Jaw and Fury doesn’t have the power to take advantage of it. He’s absolutely featherfisted.
We have no way of knowing if AJs chin further deteriorated after the Dubois walloping though. Since that loss he's only fought Jake Paul. This is first "real" boxing match since and it's against an Albanian bin man. There's also the issue of him potentially being gun shy which he was in the Ruiz rematch, and really he hasn't had the same kind of swagger since. Hopefully neither are factors and both show up in decent form so we get a worthy top tier HW fight.
I’m hoping for a good fight but it’s so far past its sell by date at this point. It’s AJ and his Glass Jaw and low Ring IQ vs Fury and his feather fist and declining skill set.
at least AJ is taking his fight dead serious. Even though he could probably get off the couch and KO Pringle in a couple rounds with no camp.
